I like this not just for the context, but also the style it was drawn, normally any joke for existing fiction is normally done in a manga style (which is by no means bad, but it is refreshing to see other styles). Defiantly a favorite.
I miss Nine too. He is my favorite. He was a Doctor you could laugh at and take seriously at the same time. I like 10 and 11 a lot as well, but there was just something about Nine that made him special, and the antics he and Rose would get up to were always so cute and hilarious. This is no exception. I can't decide whether my favorite part of this picture is Rose's knowing smirk or the Doctor's grumpy face when he has to do house work
Haha, if Nine and Rose had spent more time together, it could've totally ended up like this! (and I think Ten would've rather liked it )
I miss Nine too, he was always my favourite. Ten was fun and goofy (with occasional angst), but Nine was cynical and eager at the same time, witty and quietly intense; he had real gravitas. The first Who episode that I ever saw was 'End of the World'. The defining moment, for me, was when Jabe confronted him about being the last of his race; I was mesmerized by that perfect image of Christopher Eccleston standing there, tears silently running down his face, I was completely unprepared for it. No other Who episode quite lived up to that one; it absolutely floored me T___T
Well, I liked Rose (and here I'm highly unfair towards her; she would never do that to him, she didn't want that even for herself) cos she was the most relatable for me. I really miss the times when you didn't have to be a medical student, French marquise, have killer legs or had to be his wife to get the Doctor's attention, you could be a simple shop girl with roots and in a baggy clothes and he still would sacrifice his current life for you - that's the distillate of the classic Time Lord - Human relation for me. But I agree with you that she should have left after the first season, I didn't like her with Ten.
